How To: Use a Simplified Editor Toolbar

If you find that you don't use most of the buttons available in the body-text editor, you can switch to a simplified toolbar:

This toolbar includes only the buttons for bold, italic, numbered list, bulleted list, link, and image.

Here's how to switch your site to this option:

• Login as LibraryAdmin or another superuser.
• Go to Administer > Site configuration > FCKeditor.
• For the "Advanced" profile in the FCKeditor setup, click Edit.
• Expand the "Editor Appearance" options.
• For the "Toolbar" option, select DrupalBasic.
• Scroll down and click the Update Profile button.
